Textiles serve a diverse range of purposes in industrial applications and production processes. This range primarily comprises of:

• Tools (e.g. belts, sanding and polishing discs, covers)
• Insulating and protective textiles (e.g. temperature, noise, cable binding)
• Transport (e.g. packaging, BigPack, tubes)
• Filtering and cleaning systems

New intelligent textiles are also being used for industrial applications, supporting and simplifying existing production processes. Many new possible applications are being found, especially in the safety segment.

In addition to textiles for established applications such as sanding disc velour, filtration or micro-fibre cloth, Lindenfarb is focusing on new applications and developing the required finishing processes.
