Oeko-Tex Standard 100

The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an international testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished and finished textile products.

The system tests for various substances and chemicals that are considered to be health hazards.

After a textile is tested it is placed into one of the four product classes specified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The textile is placed in a product class based on its intended application. The more the textile comes into contact with human skin, the higher the requirements are.
